If you work in health care, a development organisation or in the caring industry at any level, then AMREF has the course for you. AMREF's mission is to create vibrant networks of informed communities that work with empowered health workers in stronger health systems, in order to ensure that every African has access to the good health which is theirs by right. This mission is reflected in the training courses that we run, and our determination to build the capacity of the African people to take charge of their own health care.

General Information:

Certification: - The participants, upon successful completion of each short course will be awarded an AMREF certificate stipulating the units covered.

Learning Resources: - Include excellent Conference facilities, a Computer laboratory with internet access; a well-equipped Clinical laboratory where trainees carry out practical examinations; A state-of-the-art Library which provides access to print and online information.

Costs: - Training fee covers lunch, stationery, field trips and all course related learning materials. This fee does not cover bed, dinner and breakfast.

NB. Accommodation, dinner and breakfast can be hired by participants within easy reach of the AMREF training centre.

AMREF conducts in-house and personalized training for any of the above programs. These programs are specifically customized to an organization's corporate culture, precise requirements and needs. (Not less than 15 participants).
